How We Started
Hi, Cynthia here :) One day, I asked my Dad to teach me how to make his XO Sauce. It was so good, we wondered, would others love it too? Could we turn this into something more? Mom said we’ll have to try to know. So, we’re giving it our best shot to build something together as a family.
Each of us brings something special to the table. Dad is our self-taught chef with 40+ years of experience and a long sauce resume. Mom is the heart of our kitchen who keeps us grounded. My brother is a talented cook creating his own sauce recipes and keeping us honest with his feedback. And me? I'm the bridge between Dad's recipes and your table. Cooking is in our roots—whether at home or in the restaurant we once ran, the kitchen has always been the heart of everything.
We craft each small batch with the same care and quality we put into cooking for family. More than two decades ago, The Seattle Times praised Dad's XO sauce in our family restaurant, calling it 'piquant' and saying it 'hits the spot.' It's chef-crafted, but it tastes like home. We're grateful to share this journey with you, to connect through food that feels both nostalgic and new.
